Desk Stranding Lamp

A desk lamp inspired by Death Stranding: six jointed arms around a central hub, each carrying its own LED strip. I 3D printed the parts, put the lamp together, and did all of the wiring myself.

01 Print & Assembly

Every structural part is 3D printed: a black hub and arm panels, joined by white linkages that pivot on screws. From there it was a matter of working through the designer's assembly guide chapter by chapter, building up the main body one arm at a time.

02 Wiring

Each of the six arms carries its own LED strip. I wired a red and black lead to every strip, seated the strips in the arm panels, and routed the leads back through the linkages into the hub. From there, the six pairs are bundled with zip ties into a single harness running out the bottom.

03 Lit Up

Powered on, all six arms light up, with a blue light glowing in the hub at the center.
